Old Daugherty House
Historical marker location:Built for F. M. Daugherty about 1904, one year after son-in-law A. M. Brownfield helped found town. Lumber was hauled here by wagon. Style is typical of era. Site of early gatherings. Later home of the local midwife. Has been remodeled.
