Miller County, Missouri

Miller County is located in the central part of the state of Missouri in the United States. It was officially established on February 26, 1837, and was named after John Miller, a former governor of Missouri. Before its formal establishment, the area was home to various Native American tribes, including the Osage and Delaware tribes.

In the early years of its settlement, Miller County relied heavily on agriculture for its economic development. Farmers grew crops such as corn, wheat, and tobacco, and raised livestock. The county became known for its fertile soil and ideal farming conditions.
