Successful businessman Eugene Edge had this eclectic dwelling built for his family in 1920. The design incorporates elements from styles popular at the time, Georgian, Renaissance, and other revival styles. Edge ran the Significance continued: Eugene Edge & Son Department Store, one of few longtime businesses still operating downtown. While Edge was also responsible for another house in town, he lived longer in this dwelling.
