Northwest No. 8 Boundary Marker of the Original District of Columbia
6422 Western Ave., Washington, DCNorthwest #8 boundary stone was the fifth marker to be located in Maryland. It was laid in 1792. It is located in the front yard of the residence. Its fence was dedicated on November 4, 1916, by the Colonel John Donelson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution; it is not known when or why the fence was removed.
