Parker Lumber Company Complex

419 N. Main, Bryan, TX

Contractor E.J. Jenkins built the Parker Lumber Co.'s office for G.S. Parker, Sr. in 1910 much like it appears today. The other buildings in the complex followed, creating the current configuration in use now by 1925. The Parker Lumber Co. played a vital role in the physical development of Bryan and was responsible for the construction of many of the town's extant historic dwellings. The office is virtually unaltered.
