Noto House

900 N. Parker, Bryan, TX

The form and details of this structure suggest that it could be one of the oldest extant dwellings in Bryan and possibly was built in the 1870s. It is an outstanding example of a double-entry dwelling with an inset porch in Bryan. J.B. Leonard owned the property on which the house sits in the 1880s and 1890s. W.R. Rhodes, the next owner, apparently made improvements to the property (perhaps the major additions to the rear). The Noto family has owned the house since about 1913.
