Jones, J. M., House
812 S. Ennis, Bryan, TXBryan architect Olin Sanders, Jr. successfully incorporated Tudor Revival elements in this domicile for the J.M. Jones family in 1931. Jones was head of the Range and Animal Husbandry division of the Texas Agricultural Extension Service from 1918 to 1947, during which time he assisted in the development of the Santa Gertrudis cattle line on the King Ranch and helped found the Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
