Chance, James O., House
102 S. Parker, Bryan, TXJames 0. Chance, who owned substantial amounts of property in the Brazos Bottom, built this Classical Revival house in 1912 for his family. It is an outstanding expression of the style and little altered from its original appearance. After Chance's death in the early 19205, his widow continued to live in the house for many years.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
