The Delfinia Gurule House looks as though it belongs in one of the mountain villages of northern New Mexico; 'virtually intact and unaltered, it is a fine period piece. The property was purchased by Delfinia Gurule from Dolores Otero Burg, heiress of one of the developers of the Perea Addition, in 1912. Mrs. Gurule continued to live in the house until her death in early 1980. The house has now been purchased by the Dunbars, who plan a careful rehabilitation.
