Constructed in 1890, St. Paul's Church embodies the distinctive characteristics of church architecture. It is simplified in the western tradition and features Trinity and Gothic detailing. The structure is comparable to other churches already listed on the National Register and is associated with the lives of locally significant persons. The church has also been important in social and cultural development in the broad patterns of Laramie's early history. It is one of Laramie's outstanding architectural structures and is in excellent condition. St. Paul's Church was the first Gern hood granted July 10, 1890, the church cornerstone was laid July 13, 1890 - and is the oldest church building in Laramie with descendants of the original congregation still represented. German was the main language of the church until 1930.
