Atkins and Smith House

390 N. 400 West, Beaver, UT

The original black rock cottage represents one of the early "permanent" homes in Beaver and was probably built for James Atkins by Thomas Frazer. It also appears that Frazer built the pink rock addition, this time for John A. Smith the new owner of the property. Besides these facts, the home is further significant because of its historic date and its unaltered, historic design.
