Who commanded the 2nd Company of the 2nd Regiment of San Jacinto..Born in Kentucky, January 15, 1800. Died March 9, 1853.
The state flower of Texas is the bluebonnet. The flower blooms in the spring and is a common sight along the highways and in fields throughout the state.
