Boardman-Webb-Bugg House

Built around 1880, the Boardman-Webb-Bugg House embodies a dual importance to the Austin community, both as a solid example of a Victorian residence and as the home of the prominent, internationally known historian, Walter Prescott Webb. The house stands on an original city lot and was probably the first one in the vicinity. It is an enduring statement of the period and as a landmark, helps delineate the development and growth of the central Austin district.
