(March 14, 1813 - December 18, 1866) A Texas War for Independence soldier; enlisted in Georgia with Capt. W. A. O. Wadsworth, 1st Co., Georgia Bn., 1st Regt. of Texas Volunteers under Col. J. W. Fannin. Wounded Feb. 29, Good left the command, and thus escaped death in Goliad Massacre, March 21, 1836.

Settled at Gonzales. Moved to Lockhart; owned a hotel; and was Caldwell County sheriff. Spent last years ranching here. He married Malissa Trantham; they had three sons and a daughter.
