Thornton, Dr. Penn B., House
1541 Tulane St., Houston, TXDr. Penn B. Thornton, for whom the house was built, was one of a pair of doctors who began the conversion of the Houston Heights Hotel into a hospital in 1899. Mrs. Thornton was active in the social life of the Heights in that period.
