Schlesser-Burrows House
1123 Harvard St., Houston, TXThe design is unique for this neighborhood. Built by a contractor Jos. Schlesser, for his own family. Several houses in the Heights were built by such craftsmen. Ornamental parapet-"Alamotif"-strongest high-style element, and brick construction was not common in the Heights in its early days.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
