The Roessler House is a vernacular Queen Anne cottage typical of the modest housing found in the Heights in the early 20th century. The rear garage is original to the house and contributing. Charles F. Roessler first occupied the house in 1912 and worked as a driver of a beer wagon. This house is significant because it is well-preserved and is one of the few houses in the neighborhood that retains its original secondary buildings.
