Perry-Swilley House

1101 Heights Blvd., Houston, TX

This house was built as a wedding present for Ava Sumbardo when she married Philo Perry. Her father, C. L. Sumbardo, also lived there and was a dealer in farm real estate. This was later the home of William Swilley, another real estate agent who was prominent in the Heights, and whose son, George Swilley, continues in that line of business in the neighborhood.
