Mansfield House
1802 Harvard St., Houston, TXDuring the years before the annexation of the Heights by Houston, this house was owned by real estate investors. Henry P. Mansfield built the fine house, then sold it to S. Allen Kincaide, who later sold it to Alexander Peddie of the Peddie Land Co. The house is one of few remaining in the Heights of this elaborate style, once seen in several homes along the Boulevard and on prominent corners of the Heights.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
