This house is a small worker's cottage typical of housing in the Heights of this period. R.L. Whitehead was the first owner and lived there until his death. The property was later conveyed to George Kostas who lived there w/ his family until 1937. The house is significant in representing the simplicity and craftsmanship of the period and architecture.
