The George L. Burlingame House is an early-20th-century house unusual amid the modest, middle-income housing in the Heights. It was constructed by the owner, a contractor, for his own residence and served as such for over thirty years. The house is significant as a remarkably intact example of this style with excellent bungaloid features.
