House at 2528 Postoffice St.
2528 Postoffice St., Galveston, TXThis is the last house remaining in the area that was the famous Postoffice red-light district during Galveston's gambling years. It is the only surviving docu- of the strip. Tax records indicate that it was built in 1886 by Mollie Walters.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
