This is the best grouping of the simple double-gallery house remaining in Galveston. The vernacular form was built in Galveston from the 1870s into the 20th century, often as speculative real estate. There are single and paired examples throughout Galveston, but this foursome is now unique.

The exact construction date is undetermined, but Sanborn maps indicate they were built between 1889 and 1900.
