Paillet House

800 S. College, Waxahachie, TX

One of the most representative and intact examples of a plan type that was built in great numbers and variety. The L-pian form first appeared during the Victorian period when asymmetrical forms were favored. The house was probably built for A. H. Paillet, who listed his occupation in city directories as a blacksmith. He owned the house until 1920.
