McCartney House
603 W. Marvin, Waxahachie, TXOne of the city's most architecturally significant residences of the early twentieth century, the McCartney House was designed by Dallas architect C. D. Hill, who also designed the Rogers Hotel and the Central Presbyterian Church. This two-and-a-half-story brick home was built for merchant E. C. McCartney. 1921 C. L. Penn purchased the home and lived there until the 1940s.
Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
