Koger, William, House

409 Kaufman, Waxahachie, TX

The Koger House is one of the few local examples of the I-house plan type. While the two-story I house was built in great numbers throughout the Upland and Lowland South by the time the form reached Texas, it was usually rendered only in one-story versions. The house retains much of its original fabric and is a fine example of the plan type.
