House at 501 North Grand
501 N. Grand, Waxahachie, TXThis is one of the city's finest examples of the modified L-plan house type. The plan reflects the influence of the Victorian style on the traditional, widely-built L-plan dwelling. The irregular form appealed to the late nineteenth-century builder, and this example has retained much of its original fabric.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
