House at 111 Williams

111 Williams, Waxahachie, TX

This is one of Waxahachie's most unique vernacular residences. In the plan, the structure falls into a two-room house type without a center passage. Such a dwelling in the region is almost always one story in height and only one room deep, unlike this structure. It is likely one of the oldest extant residences in the city.
