a.k.a. Fourth Ward School
411 Gibson, Waxahachie, TXThe product of a significant building program by the public school district in the early 20th century, was the result of the town's growth and the increased importance of public schools (as opposed to private academies) in education. The best-preserved of Waxahachie's historic school buildings, it follows the traditional plan and simple form of established public school design of the early 20th century.
