403 N. Preston, Ennis, TX

Bungalow details of exposed beams, decorative rafter ends and broad, low porches and porte-cochere are fused with a four-square, plan-type dwelling to create a successful large-scale bungalow composition. This is one of the city's best examples of the melding of a four-square house with bungalow detailing.
