414 W. Marvin, Waxahachie, TXWhile the bungalow was a popular architectural expression in Waxahachie during the 1910s and 1920s, the Erwin House is one of the city's best and most intact examples. It was constructed about 1915 by businessman R. K. Erwin for his son J. R. Erwin. Also see the Williams-Erwin House nomination, National Register, 1978. In 1924 Stewart Moore, proprietor of Moore Hardware purchased the house.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
