Coleman-Cole House
1219 E. Marvin, Waxahachie, TXThis was originally a one-story dwelling with a modified L-plan, one of the city's most common house types. Its irregular massing was changed in the early twentieth century when a one- and two-story porch was added, which gave the facade a more balanced and symmetrical appearance. The dwelling was originally owned by George Coleman, president of the Texas Title and Loan Co. By 1924, it was the home of grocer J. W. Cole.
