317 E. Marvin, Waxahachie, TXRetaining most of its late nineteenth-century detailing and massing, this is one of the best local examples of the L-plan house type. Favored by Victorian builders, the L-plan was the most common regional plan type from approximately 1880 to 1910. The house was probably built for insurance agent 6. H. Alderman, who owned the house until 1919.
