Stevens, Elisha, House
408 E. Prairie, Cuero, TXThis house was designed and built by Joe Hamilton of Cuero, according to an article in the Cuero Star. The house features Eastlake detailing, quite rare among Cuero residences. The house has changed little since originally constructed for Elisha Stevens. In 1906 W.C. Booton purchased the property, which has changed hands many times since then.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
