Ley, Valentine, House
206 E. Newman, Cuero, TXThe bird's-eye map shows this structure in 1881, and tax rolls indicate it was owned by Valentine from 1880 until 1903. It stands as one of Cuero's oldest residences. Few alterations detract from its historic integrity, and it remains an excellent local example of a center-passage dwelling, a common late 19th-century plan type in Cuero.
