Ott, S. I., House

The S.I. Ott House, erected on this site in 1888 and possibly moved from Indianola, is an outstanding local example of a center-passage dwelling, a common house form in Cuero. Its present porch with chamfered columns was added between 1902 and 1907, according to Sanborn maps. The house remained in the Ott family through the 1930s.
