Old Beer and Ice Warehouse

104 SW Railroad, Cuero, TX

This unusually detailed structure stands next to the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks and originally served as a beer and ice warehouse. It remains virtually unaltered. This structure is one of Cuero's most uniquely detailed commercial buildings and is noteworthy for its parapet on the north elevation. While warehouse buildings typically have little noteworthy detailing, this structure is an exception. It is virtually unaltered since its completion in about 1910.
