This is one of Cuero's finest examples of a center-passage dwelling with an inset porch, a somewhat common house type of Cuero. Built about 1895 for Frank Marie, it features classical detailing and proportions typical of Greek Revival houses in Texas. This residence remained in the Marie family until 1939.
