Macedonia Baptist Church
512 S. Indianola, Cuero, TXMacedonia Baptist Church was organized in 1891 and was originally known as the Second Baptist Church (Colored) of Cuero. Two years after its founding, the church purchased the old facilities of the Catholic Church, which had built a new brick church building. The old frame building was dismantled and rebuilt on its present site in 1893. This is one of Cuero's oldest Black congregation churches. Its sanctuary is an outstanding example of vernacular ecclesiastical architecture in Cuero and is an important architectural and social landmark in the city.
