Grace Episcopal Church

The Grace Episcopal Church was organized in 1874 and its first chapel was moved from Port Lavaca. The present facility with Gothic Revival style, was built in 1889 and dedicated the following year. This building is one of Cuero's most noteworthy religious buildings and is a rare local illustration of the Gothic Revival style. The education wing, built in 1930, displays Gothic Revival detailing and is considered a contributing element to the property's overall historic character.
