Eichholz, William and L. F., House
308 E. Courthouse, Cuero, TXWm Eichholz, who built this house in 1894, founded the Deutsche Rundschau, a local German language newspaper in 1891. It continued until World War I when it was published in English. It later consolidated with the Cuero Record which is still published today. The house remained in the Eichholz family until 1939. With remarkably few alterations, it stands as one of Cuero's most outstanding illustrations of a two-story L-plan dwelling.
