701 E. Morgan, Cuero, TX

This residence was originally constructed in Indianola but was dismantled and rebuilt in Cuero in 1886-87 by Peter W. Clement. He owned it until 1912 when Henry Nagel became the owner. He operated the J.R. Nagel Hardware Store which was one of Cuero's first and most important business establishments. The store operated out of the building at 113-15 E. Main Street.
