Hill, John B., House

605 N. College, McKinney, TX

This is a good local example of a very common house type in McKinney. It was built for John B. Hill, who was co-owner of Hill & Webb Grain Elevator Co. at Louisiana and Greenville streets. The later owners completed a restoration of the exterior in 1987. Most of the work took place on the porch and included the placement of spindled, jigsawn, and turned woodwork.
