Davis, H. L., House
705 N. College, McKinney, TXThis is one of three houses in McKinney that has a Sullivanesque frieze and may have been designed by Dallas architect J.E. Flanders. It is similar to the houses at 401 N. Lamar and 513 N. Church, both of which are being nominated to the National Register. The attorney erected this house in about 1905 and he served as Collin County Judge (1910 to 1916) while he resided in this structure. The house is a noteworthy example of an early 20th-century dwelling and is distinguished by the Sullivanesque frieze.
