The L. B. Clegg House is a fine example of early Spanish Colonial Revival Architecture in San Antonio, Reflecting a high level of craftsmanship in the design of its wooden features and glassed structures, this residence is perhaps twenty years older than most Spanish Colonial structures in the region.

Constructed in 1902 by Harvey L. Page, the L. B. Clegg House is a fine example of early Spanish Colonial Revival Architecture in San Antonio, Reflecting a high level of craftsmanship in the design of its wooden features and glassed structures, this residence is perhaps twenty years older than most Spanish Colonial structures in the region. The historic character of the house and its original structure, complete with outbuildings and European period furnishings, have been preserved down to the present time. With the occupancy of the published poetess, Josephine Haltom Henning, in 1937, the home has filled a vital social role in the Community, serving as a place where small receptions and weddings could be held.
