Thomas Arnold Rd. and Church St., Salado, TXA good example of Carpenter Gothic style and only such example found in the Salado congregation first organized in 1854, the first full-time minister was J.E. Ferguson, father of later Texas Governor James Ferguson.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
