Old Masonic Hall

a.k.a. Old Masonic Lodge Building

The predecessor or Masonic Lodge Building (1858) and the old Masonic Lodge Building (1886–87), the subject of the present nomination, both occupy the same historic site on Masonic Street in Bellville, and have played important roles in church, school, civic, and community life in this city. The lodge members who utilized the buildings for its meetings until 1967 were also prominent in Bellville history and development.
