Dunham Hill
US 69, Huntington, TXAn exceptional 1-story version of American Foursquare style with an immense pyramidal roof. Built by Foster Lee Durham, a local sawmill owner; all clear virgin pine lumber. Dunham had a Southern Pine Lumber Company in Diboll, and several Kirby mills. He purchased the standing timber for the house and had it milled. The well in front was dug by Frank Kamie on August 7, 1919. It is currently owned by F. L. Dunham's son, L. G. Dunham. The significance is architecture at the local level.
