Creek County Courthouse
222 E. Dewey Ave., Sapulpa, OKThe Creek County Courthouse is significant because it has served since 1915 as the repository of the county's official records and as the headquarters of local government. It is also architecturally significant because it is an outstanding example of monumental public architecture. The building is in very good condition and is centrally located in downtown Sapulpa, The quarter block behind the courthouse is a park with a grandstand where summer band concerts are held. The building and its grounds are very much a vital part of the community's political and social life.
Local significance of the building:Listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
