( Marker is at the intersection of Springfield Pike (Ohio Route 4) and Wyoming Avenue, on the right when traveling north on Springfield Pike.)

Spreen’s Grocery. 1890- 1934.

The first traffic light in the world was installed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1914. It had only two colors, red and green, and was manually operated by a police officer.
